Quinteto Quilombo Plays Astor Piazzolla

Join us as Quinteto Quilombo performs the music of Astor Piazzolla, the renowned composer and virtuoso bandoneonist. Be transported to an earlier time, when Piazzolla was revolutionizing the traditional tango, as the Quinteto plays some of his greatest music in the maestro’s original instrumentation. This exciting evening includes performances by Christy Coté, Chelsea Eng and Debbie Goodwin & Carolina Rozenszrotch of Tango Con*Fúsion, and guest artist Rose Vierling.

    This concert was awesome! Each musician was an amazing artist, and the musical experience was profound. Some of the pieces actually brought tears to my eyes.
    And the dancing by Debbie and Rose, and the Tango Con*Fusion dancers was an added
    treat. Always wonderful to see these talented women.
