This class is for those women wishing to perform in Alma del Tango’s annual student production. This year’s women’s choreography will be danced to a slow melodic tango. It will be about how the tango invades ones heart and holds one forever in a close embrace. Both individual work and partnering is involved. Prepare to be challenged as we work to refine body movement, balance, foot placement and connection to create a beautiful, soulful tango.

First class is Saturday, Sept 8th, 2012. You must be signed up by October to participate.

This class is for those women wishing to perform in Alma del Tango’s annual student production.

(Currently offered Sept-Feb, Saturdays 1-2 pm to prepare for performance in annual student production)
This year’s group choreography will be an upbeat traditional rhythmic tango using both traditional close embrace milonguero style moves and some individual synchronized footwork. In addition to developing mastery over a choreography, you will also master the core “milonguero” movement that will serve you well at any milonga setting. Performance skills and some fancy footwork will also be involved. $30 couple drop-in or $100 monthly rate or $300 all inclusive monthly couples pass.
